What Locals Say about Arlingwood

  • Trulia User
"Great neighborhood, friendly folks all around. Parks and schools in waking distance. Kids play outside. Sidewalks all around. "
  • Trulia User
"Cars go flying down certain roads and remember Jax is a school of choice. Mostly quiet and neighbors keep to themselves. "
  • Trulia User
"I would most definitely watch my children very closely and not leave them alone after dark. alot of drug dealers and older kids and drug users tend to hang around the schools and areas close by. "
  • Vicki M.
"There are all three levels of schools close by and many parks as well. Good places for kids to go and play as long as they are supervised. Some streets are busier than others you just have to monitor each area closely. Arlington is very convenient and nice area to live. "
  • Vicki M.
"Bus lines are near and Uber or Lyfts are readily available. Close to 295 and the expressway to make it easy to get around town."
  • Samantha C.
"rhere are none we are not very communal. everyone sticks to themselves. no trouble. never see cops and there are three different schools in the zone. its amazong "
  • Yoli L.
"Dogs are walked and part of the neighborhood. Many neighbors have dogs but you never see them loose."
  • Margaret L.
"I have lived in this neighborhood for most of my life as I’m approaching 59 years old It’s always been safe neighborhood lots of trees lots friendly kids and families. "
  • "Arlingwood is safe to walk, neighborhood is quiet, close to the Beltway and Regency Mall, and within walking distance of parks and schools. Because the neighborhood is surrounded by schools, there are no predators living here. Crime is low and not a concern. Arlington in general is underrated; crime is no worse here than it is in Mandarin. It might not be the hot new place to live these days, but it's still convenient, quiet, and safe."
