"Safe neighborhoods from anything including dogs being on leashes and it dont really go out. But surely safe parks for childrens "
- Sydneycain907
- Resident

"Spenard is quirky. Fish Creek Park trail is nice and has just been redone. There are many rough spots along the actual Spenard road but most neighborhoods are pretty safe. Lots of families and kids."
- Mekayla T.
- Resident
- 3y ago
"There are a lot of owners who choose not to put leashes on their dogs. The area is full of vagrants and drunkards. Police sirens are heard from open windows at night, causing dogs to bark."
- Salima J.

"decent place to live for a decent price, like any other neighborhood you have to make safe decisions 😉 "
- Matrona F.

"that this is a nice neighborhood with a bad reputation. yes there is bums, hookers and drugs in this area but its really on one street and as long as I lived here I've learned that you wont really effect your home if you dont involve yourself.."
- Arctickat
- Resident
- 5y ago
"I have lived here for seven years. crime is somewhat a problem. you have to keep things locked up. we walk with dogs so there is minimal danger from the homeless population. while this is a fairly nice neighborhood there are bad elements.; "
- Trulia User
- Resident

"I appreciate having a walkable distance to a classic restaurant, a bookstore & cafe, an elementary school and a rec center in this neighborhood!"
- Trinalaskan
- Visitor
- 5y ago
"Too dangerous to walk your dogs. The crime level has increased tremendously in this area and I will not feel safe walking animals or kids. "
- Sophielittee
- Resident

"Friendly neighbors, great access to midtown, close to down town and coastal trail. Eclectic and artistic. Great community with fun gatherings."
- Rnlmeers

"I’ve lived in the same house for 25 years. Other residences are multi units and people transition frequently. "

"We live in Mid-town and it truly is the perfect location, 15 mins from EVERYTHING!"
