"It’s college kids. It takes 10-12 minutes to walk to very central places but it’s college kid area. I love to walk so the walk is nice, but construction is always there and the price of every day things are marked up. I do love 12th Street-it’s slightly calmer and than the Other streets. "

"I have owned a house here for over 20 years. I keep an apartment in it, and rent out the other spaces. Druid City Historic District, beautiful old houses and quiet safe streets. People are friendly but not nosey. Perfect location, 15 min walk to UA football games, 5 min walk to Government Plaza. Amphitheater, River Market, all the downtown restaurants and bars nearby. Queen City has joined UA campus, downtown, and river commerce for the nearly 200 years Tuscaloosa has been here."
