Description
The Sears Crosstown building has been home to many things over its almost 100-year history. Over 400,000 sqft on the upper floors of the building housed tens of thousands of unique products goods that were pulled by hand, packaged and tied with the distinctive "Sears Knot," then shipped out daily to one of over 650,000 customers in the region. These parcels were the lifeblood of the building, and when they stopped flowing, the building was forced into dormancy.
Today, the lifeblood of this building is you. Be a part of the reawakening as these floors churn back into action as a home to people on the forefront of engaging Memphis: urban educators, healthcare scientists and researchers, artists, and many others who are excited to live above the unique experiences and amenities Crosstown Concourse has to offer. Parcels is where the spirit of Concourse takes physical form through its residents.

- Jordan Maxwell

"There is nothing but trash and broken glass all around the complex but especially on the walk outside of the gates. If you want to get to a good walking neighborhood, your dog needs shoes. Also, no one picks up after their pet here and the management doesn't have any waste stations despite charging a lot to have pets here."
- Trulia User
- Prev. Resident

"There's a bus stop right by the complex that takes you North but it's easy to connect to get downtown or closer to the not crappy part of midtown"

"Great food and night life. Artistic, mostly safe area. So close to the zoo and museums. Historic neighborhoods, BBQ Shop (best in Memphis, In my opinion). The whole area is about to blow up with the ballet and new condos. "

"Commute isn’t optimal. But that’s just Memphis and Shelby County as a whole. The public transit throughout the city is unreliable and make it difficult to be punctual anywhere without being, two hours at a minimum, early. Makes it difficult to schedule around. "

"We live in the Evergreen Historic District and we absolutely love it! Great neighborhood for families. "

- Bellefolly

"I've lived in Midtown for 20 years in the Idlewild Historic District. Living here is similar to living in a Thornton Wilder town. Virtually all houses have nice sized front porches where folks enjoy sitting outside in mornings & evenings. "
- Skye W.

"It’s a center of food, Memphis art, and the midtown soul. You can walk around the beautiful houses and then go eat at a restaurant, or see a ballet, or see live music. "
