"Halloween fire pits in the front yard every year. Forth of July is always great. You can see them from your front yard. Santee lakes are amazing and a great place to fish."

"There are a lot of events and things to do nearby. Breweries are great. Drive In Theater is unique, it is one out of two in San Diego County. There’s also a big popular Swap Meat in Santee on weekends."

"Santee is a nice bedroom community with many families with activities and parks galore. Great schools both K through 8 and high schools. We have wonderful shopping opportunities and lot of places to eat out. "

"We have dog pick up bags around the neighborhood! Most everyone picks up after there dog here. The neighborhood is hilly and makes for a great walk for dogs. We have not seen aggressive breeds. Most owners are friendly as well!"

"Takes about 20 min to get downtown without traffic. With traffic, up to 45 min. 52 heading west gets backed up in the mornings."

"I like how my area has a lot of shops and amenities near by but there are a few things that are missing that I would like. Other than that there are a few homeless people in the area and some unpleasant people around. A lot of drivers are aggressive and not courteous, and I wish there were better sidewalks for people to walk safely on."

"The 52 can get backed up on weekdays between 7am-9am leaving town and 3pm-6pm coming back in. When there’s no traffic, you can get almost anywhere in SD county within 20-30 min."
