7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur grandson has special needs and his team of teachers and all of the staff have displayed FULL SUPPORT. To be honest my daughter would love to move but has chosen to stay in this neighborhood because of the school. We have seen the growth in our grandson. We feel supported even though there have been challenges and there will always be some level of challenge. The staff have worked together to think outside of the box for solutions to ensure safey regarding eloping. I feel very secure sending our grandson here.Other Review11mo ago16 Reviews - J L Long Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageComing from private education K-8, the Woodrow experience has been amazing. Woodrow's IB program is allowing kids to excel in liberal arts, the STEM academy is accredited with PLTW, the premier STEM program, The Business academy is NAF certified, and the CAPA academy is famous for it's long tradition of the annual broadway musicals. The majority of the students are living under the poverty line, yet the school's results are the best in Dallas ISD for a 'choice' school (aka non-magnet).Principal Review10y ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near 6110 Junius St.

"I just moved here and live in a duplex in the neighborhood. The folks are nice, respectful, friendly and look out for each other. Surprisingly safe . I forgot my keys in the side door for a few days and no one took it or entered my home. This place is close to everything ☺️"

"Lots of dog walkers and nice dogs abound in this bucolic little neighborhood east of Dallas . Houses are very charming harkening back to the 1930-1950’s when many of the houses were built."

"I have lived here for 12 years. No trick or treaters have ever came to my door. Commute is fairly easy. I-20, I-175, I-635 is near by. You can commute by car/truck. Walking and riding bicycles is pretty dangerous. There is a Boxing gym near by."

"Everyone has a dog. Everyone picks up the poop. If you don’t pick up the poop, you will be shamed. Also keep your dog on a leash and leave the cats alone. Unless you are at the park and your dog is well behaved. "
