"At the moment there are no traditions each individual subdivision has their own events. Most events come from the local Elementary, Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools. The events are Fall and Winter carnivals, Health and Back to School Fairs, etc."

"It’s pretty quiet where I stay I can’t say about the rest of Alief. It’s a transit bus that comes but I have my own vehicles. It’s a dog park in my apartments "

"I’ve lived in Alief almost all of my life. Our neighbors are always so kind and friendly. My children feel safe and protected here. Everyone helps each other out. There is a sense of community here. If you enjoy people you should consider living in alief. The schools are also very welcoming and challenging. It is perfect for any person of any age."

"Heavy traffic at our access road to Dairy Ashford, right across from an elementary and middle school. (Crossing guards though.) Long lines going both ways on Dairy Ashford at school closing times. "

"There are none. It's the hood, no one does good things in the hood. The basketball hoops are down, the tennis court is closed down without nets. There are no speed limit signs or children at play so slow down signs. it's ridiculous, gun shots are the norm. "

"My neighbors 4 untrained German Shepard’s run lose in the neighborhood at night attacking smaller dogs and cats and barking/howling all night long, they even killed a cat in my front yard and left it there to rot in the summer heat!"
