7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of two students, I appreciate that the school offers strong programs in arts, sports, and many extracurricular activities. Those opportunities are a real positive for the students. However, the administrative side is frustrating. The front office feels bureaucratic, and it’s almost impossible to speak with a counselor or staff member without waiting a week or more.In addition, the service at the front desk has felt unprofessional and unwelcoming at times unless you are PTA parent or such. Since it’s the first point of contact for parents, a more respectful and helpful attitude would make a big difference.Lastly, some classes assign an excessive amount of homework, even during school breaks, which doesn’t seem to consider students’ need for rest physically and mentally.Parent Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Cabrillo Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school staff is highly unprofessional and unorganized. The front office and teachers constantly lose paperwork and then blame the parents for being difficult to work with. The front office cannot keep up with what programs are on what days after school so if your child stays after and you need to get to get a hold of them or pick them up, it is very difficult to do so. My child has been there for 5 years and only one of those years he’s had a teacher that truly cared about him. Sadly, that teacher retired and the rest of the staff seem to not care about the wellbeing or development of the students. The staff does not care if your child skips a meal. One day my son forgot his lunch so I brought his lunchbox to the front office. His lunch box stayed in the back of the office all day with dozens of staff members walking by without questioning it. My son came home after school to tell me that he didn’t eat lunch and when I confronted the office and his teacher about it, they just blamed each other and even my son and no one took accountability for the mistake or even apologized. It doesn’t matter if your children are having issues with bullies or are struggling academically, the staff will pretend to address the issue and push it off for the next person to handle. I do not recommend this school.Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Upland Junior High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei dont like this school at all. let me just say, it is horrible. for one, the environment. there are fights basically every day, and on the last day of our second trimester, there were 7+ fights that day. also, there are just many bullies and people who harass others, both in plain sight, but rarely anything is done. another is the fact that you dont get the electives you choose. theyre switching this up next year but i suspect itll be the same. for one, you have two electives. although that makes class shorter, it means that there are more unwanted electives you can have. and in my year, when i chose my electives i was excited. but then i looked at my schedule, and i got none of the electives. they say they want you to venture into new paths but that is just absolutely stupid. i want the electives i chose, not the ones you chose for me. and they let you choose backups just in case your main choices are full, yet i didnt get my backup choices. last but not least is the fact that the teachers can seem condescending or passive aggresive. they can also pressure you into stuff. im not gonna name anyone but when choosing my 8th grade electives, i felt like my teacher pressured me into choosing a class i didnt want as it would stress me out. dont get me wrong, there are some great ones (shout out mr. mckelvey, mr. lawrence, mr. best you guys are cool) but still man there are some that are not as good. there are so many more problems i have, like the rotating schedule, their ignorance to the fact that they are part of the reason our test scores are low, all their lies (just in general), but i am half asleep writing this so thats all i'll say.Student Review3y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 1334 Randy St.

"The Lemon festival is one of the biggest events that we have in old town upland! They also do a harvest type Halloween festival and a forth of July parade. I also love that we are in between Rancho and Claremont because there’s more of a variety of events. But our most favorite thing about living in upland is mt baldy. We go up there every week"
