"I moved here approx 1 yr ago after extensively researching everything but schools (I have no school age kids). After 13 yrs in Durham, NC Graham has been amazing! It is an easy, stress free commute to the triangle and triad yet has all of the benefits and feel of the small town. The downtown area was well planned. Municipal buildings, post office, library, children's museum, arts center, movie theatre ($4), shops, and restaurants are all in close proximity of each other. Lots of free/low cost community activities, independently owned businesses, low housing costs. Locals are friendly, polite, and helpful to newcomers and visitors. I highly recommend to all except those looking for late night clubs/bars (there are none). Graham is very quiet after 9pm unless you attend a late movie or special event. "
