  • Robb P.
"Most people have large back yards. If you are going to meet your neighbors, you’ll have to bump into them while jogging or in their back yards. Most people have garages and don’t go outside. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s pretty, calm and quiet mostly. Kids will be kids. Don’t be deceived because most parents here have the financial resources to overcome any issues. There are limited options for those who are less fortunate. There is also a high expectation for parent involvement in schools, considering most parents work."
  • Cornelius T.
"I have lived here for the past 4 years. People here are very friendly and they look out for each other."
  • Cae J.
"A few terrible drivers. Some feel entitled, won’t even stop at a stop sign and drive around while talking on their phones. A couple almost hit my kid once. "
  • Vakesi
"The area is very family inviting and privacy servicing. You get what you pay for. I have been living here for almost 5 years and will probably be here for 5 more! "

"There are some people that see you walk your dog and if you do not pick up it a problem but other then that is a great place to live "
  • Lemmonsk
"The LAKEWOOD area is an oasis for kids. Lake, pools, parks, running and biking lanes. Great school districts regardless of which side of the lake you live on."

"Lived here my whole life never have had any issue with feeling “unsafe”. Dog parks are nice, streets are overall taken care of. "
  • Christiburs
"I don’t commute for work. However, some of the drivers I encounter while I am driving around town scare me. Always looking at their phones and rarely use a turn signal. "
  • Clcunningham
"Tough on Pitbull breed. Few dog parks which are nice. Animal control people that I have been in contact with are very professional. My dog barks a lot and had a complaint. They were understanding and just asked me to handle it. If they pick up a loose dog they will make every attempt to try to get dog home rather than straight to pound. Scan chips, call tag #s, etc."
  • Sarah N.
"it's a nice area. my only complaint is where I am no one delivers pizza or anything like that. I live in one of the villas so they take care of all the outside stuff too"
  • Tina K.
"Large dog walking community with plenty of green space and pickup stations. Neighbors are known by their dogs!"
  • Sapp.tyke
