What Locals Say about Downtown

"Lots of restaurants and cafes. Good neighborhood feel. Concerts, museums, events, galleries, bars, etc. I can walk around and hop in a shop, run into friends, eat at a nice restaurant all in an afternoon! I love it. I don’t live in downtown though. I live in echo park. I even walk from echo park to downtown a lot. The east side of LA is close and connected "
