Hollywood Beach Golf Club rests in the southeastern corner but there are several other courses nearby too.

Royal Poinciana is located directly north of Downtown Hollywood, so residents have easy access to a plethora of shopping centers, restaurants, nightlife spots, art studios, and more not far from home. Locals gather at downtown's Young Circle Park, a popular green space for art festivals, food trucks, and movie screenings, or spend the day at one of the many waterfront parks and beaches nearby.

    "There is a bus station only blocks from my home. Traffic is not bad at all. Biscayne Blvd/US-1 can get a bit hectic Monday through Friday at rush hour from 4:30PM to 6:00 PM, but nothing like Miami. "
