Dania Elementary School

Oakridge Elementary is truly a wonderful school that feels like a family. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can see the dedication and care that the staff has for every student. The teachers go above and beyond to support their students academically, socially, and emotionally, while the administration and staff work hard to create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment. As a parent, I appreciate the communication, support, and commitment shown by everyone at Oakridge. The school provides students with opportunities to grow, learn, and feel valued. It is clear that the entire Oakridge team is passionate about helping students succeed and preparing them for the future.I am grateful to have my child be part of such a caring and supportive school community. Oakridge Elementary truly represents what a great school should be!

As a former student mom of this school I wouldn’t recommend it specially because they don’t try to make any activities to make the children feel motivated and involved with the school. They are always asking for money and donations as is all they truly care. And even though there are good teachers I don’t feel the principal values them and she’s always working against the teachers and students trying to make everyone feel uncomfortable and under constant pressure. They have bullying issues and the school doesn’t even have a counselor to talk to. Again this is a private school and you would spect better treatment for your student but they are only concerned about making you pay for everything. Also the cafeteria is dirty they serve $12 lunch and is always cold and served without any love what I mean is if you’re paying for it you would spect great service. The principal is very unapproachable and hard to talk to and all the staff is scared of saying anything to Mrs. Roy They don’t accept any advice or suggestions and the kids are under constant pressure they are too strict with things they shouldn’t be
