"Alameda has a nice small town appeal with the city near by. You feel safe walking around at night. The city has everything from department stores to grocery stores and movie theater. Very relaxed clothing attire, a great place to enjoy the Bay water front. "

"I live at the corner, It's a nice block. Lots of new housing going in soon , it may be a bit noisy and dusty in the next year or two. Local bar 1 block away Laundromat 1 block , bodega 1 block, park 3-4 blocks, awesome Tiki bar 5-6 blocks, excellent hardware store nearby, pizza (Dominos) and several small family owned restaurants walking distance. "
