6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat experience at OP for all three of my boys. From K through to 5, they developed great bonds with the teachers and classmates. The staff are very supportive. The Principal (Pence) is top tier and this school is so much better than it's low rating on Great Schools. Every experience is different, but for me and my family - it's been awesome.Parent Review2y ago15 Reviews - Explorer Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was bullied ..after his father passed away in 2022 .I tried to move out to Everett n start a new life. My son is still traumatized and he's angry at the staff that watched n didn't protect him Idk if it political or less funding . This is a liberal school. Even a staff told me my child will be targeted. So unless they have yet changed leadership..funding etc. Be careful sending ur students here they're energy will be down n anxiety up ..pressure etc. They need a bullying policy fixed ASAP. "“Dog owners would enjoy living in this neighborhood because there are good walking areas, parks nearby, and it feels safe and quiet for pets. The sidewalks are convenient for daily walks, and many people in the area are friendly to dogs. One downside could be traffic during busy hours.”"

"I e lived in my neighborhood for 8 years and my neighbors all relatively know each other and we know who belongs and who doesn’t and we quietly watch out for each other and our property.. it’s quiet and comfortable and crime is very low around our neighborhood. "

"Dog owners would MOST like that neighbors aren’t too concerned with dogs going potty in their yards, as long as you keep things picked up. Dog owners would NOT like, is that there are coyotes in the area and can scare the dogs day or night."

"Very little, the city doesn’t maintain much of anything outside of green space. The downtown area is the prominent spot for all the happenings Everett has to offer."

"Dog owners would like for dog owners to pick up after themselves when taking their dogs out to relieve themselves. They would not like if they do not practice proper dog etiquettes. "

"There isn’t really anything that makes it special. It is full of shelters and tweakers. They are going to be tearing down my house and neighboring houses for apartments "

"Just 2 blocks from county jail and mental health facilities. lots of transients. Had our vehicles broken into and had a man try to get in my daughter's 2nd floor bedroom. We no longer feel safe."

"If I took public transit this neighborhood would be great. There’s a bus stop around the corner. If I rode a bike it would also be great to get downtown Everett or to the Sounder. Easy side streets to navigate. I drive only 15 minutes away so I’m not the best judgement"

"We drive and have no knowledge of community transportation. The neighbors are friendly and dog friendly. There are plenty of things for families todo together and they seem to be happy. Our community all seem to have their own transportation for the most part. There are buses but I have little or no information on their reliability or anything."
