"Great neighbors and neighborhood. A lot of dog walkers, people talking to each other, and just a quaint place to live. Great Halloween and Christmas tour of homes. "

"People walking their dogs and kids riding bicycles. It reminds me of my younger days growing up in Louisiana. Neighbors are extremely cordial and everyone talks to each other. It is very diverse which I really like. "

"Potlucks and a free library! Sometimes the neighborhood puts their resources together to help someone in need. For awhile, groups of men walked with women who needed or wanted to take a stroll. "

"Great area, still a bit scruff. Always improving. Been in the neighborhood a decade and still loving it."

"There’s a dog on a dead end street and it’s always outside and laying in the middle of the street when you walk your dog it will chase you. I haven’t seen it most of this winter but other than that he’s very loud and small. But he won’t actually bite he just follows people and your dog too."

"I’ve lived here sense I was born and I love this neighborhood! Everyone is very nice and the area always looks well kept and maintained! It’s a beautiful neighborhood with lots of greenways to walk around!!"

"From the time I moved here in 1999 to the present, this area has undergone an overwhelming change. Over that period, large houses divided up into as many as 11 apartments each have been returned to single-family ownership (three within view of my house) and just about every house in my viewshed has been renovated or is undergoing restoration. It is a fantastic place to live - neighbors watch out for one another, the sidewalks are awash with joggers and dog walkers, and there are ever-increasing amenities - a grocery store within walking distance, pubs, and the normal downtown stuff (actual downtown is an easy bike ride away). Best decision I ever made was to move here from West Knoxville."
