"Even though it’s the city, there are a couple great schools for young children. As with most cities, make sure kids are back early."

"Just close enough to downtown, accessible to other neighborhoods, walkable to area bars and restaurants. Neighbors are friendly, sidewalks are wide. Lots of trees."

"Family friendly, many amenities within walking distance, easy access to highways, and nice public parks."

"Long, but that is the fault of I-95 and the closing of I-895. Otherwise it is fine. Easy to get to the freeway, minimal traffic through my are in general. At least I get a chance to get some podcasts in. The afternoon commute is the worst for sure. "

"Plenty of other dogs to play with and lots of space in Riverside Park. Clean facilities and plenty of garbage cans."

"My neighborhood is special because of my neighbors. Always looking out for each other. There are the summer concerts at Riverside Park. Being able to walk within the community to shop or hang out with friends."

"We have events in Riverside Park and Federal Hill throughout the year. We have an annual Jazz festival in Federal Hill. Also many of the local restaurants/bars have block parties with bands and great food."

"Limited access to neighborhood. Only two ways in. Everything you could want is within walking distance. "

"I've lived next to riverside park on Barney st. for over two years now. In the time I've been there I've seen young professionals move into foreclosures, clean up the neighborhood, and make it on of the best kept secrets in Baltimore. New restaurants are opening up all along the south end of light street and riverside park even has a pool and lots of community sports teams. School kids walk around to the local elementary school with their parents in the morning and the locals are always friendly (my neighbor routinely walks the sidewalks and does the weedwhacking). I bought my house here as a foreclosure and have taken pride in making it better than when I found it. Just a 10 minute walk from the fed hill nightlife, but still with plenty of on street parking and easy access to the grocery stores at mchenry row, I hope you give this neighborhood a look. Easy access to 95 makes it perfect for commuters as well."
