Only 35 miles to St George, Utah - 80 miles to Las Vegas. Our casinos provide entertainment and nightlife, the city provides outdoor activities, including our wonderful Mesquite Recreation Center with indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Housing is affordable, with many choices of HOA subdivisions, and communities with NO Homeowners Associations at all. Mesquite is also home to Pulte's Sun City Mesquite Active Adult Community for 55 + residents - a good variety of new homes and resales. Sun City homeowners have access to the Pioneer Recreation Center, many indoor and outdoor facilities and clubs - and a huge discount on golf at the Conestoga Golf Course, one of the finest of the 7 public golfcourses in the Mesquite area."
