Community Description

The Estates at Post Farms is built on land that has a history worth knowing. Long before this corner of western O'Fallon became a neighborhood, it was rolling farmland and wooded creek corridors, settled by pioneers in the late 1700s and later shaped by the Krekel brothers, German immigrants who founded O'Fallon alongside the North Missouri Railroad in the mid-1800s. That agricultural past gives the community its name and, in many ways, its character. The open setting, the scenic lakes, the surrounding treeline, none of it feels incidental.
Today, The Estates at Post Farms offers eight Designer Series floor plans, from the efficient Tuscany III to the spacious Turnberry, with the Hemingway, Stockton, Mandalay, LaSalle, Provence, and Muirfield in between. To-be-built homes start from $537,800, giving families real flexibility to find a home that fits their life rather than adjusting their life to fit a home. Scenic lakes wind through the community, joined by connecting walking trails, signature pickleball courts, a kids' playground, and a surrounding treeline that makes the outdoors worth spending time in.
The location is straightforward in the best way. Dardenne Town Square, O'Fallon Walk, The Shoppes at Hawk Ridge, and the Plaza at Hutchings Farm cover shopping and dining in every direction. Heritage of Hawk Ridge Golf Club is close by for afternoons that call for something more. Highways 364, 64, and 70 keep commutes to St. Louis's business corridors and medical centers easy. Students attend Duello Elementary, Wentzville South Middle School, and Timberland High School in the Wentzville School District.
McKelvey Homes has been building for St. Louis families longer than any other builder in Missouri. Every home at The Estates at Post Farms is shaped through a Personalization Process that makes the finished product genuinely the homeowner's own. Current savings make this a well-timed opportunity to move up to McKelvey.

"A constant barking outside dog. Other than that, it is ok. Not many sidewalks. You would have to use the middle of the streets! "
  • Jeff T.
"It’s great here, I just love the neighborhood and the people here. Our elementary school could be better but it’s the only bad rated one in the entire school district. "
  • Shannon P.
"We see people walking their dogs all the time. Just pick up your poop! She did parks available, multiple vets, daycares and groomers. "

  • Trulia User
"You see people walking their dogs all the time and there are areas to dispose of your dog’s waste. People tend to drive too fast."
  • Diana M.
"Everything is close and I really enjoy being in proximity to everything, but the feel of not being in a big city."
  • Mxfx
"Lots of beige plastic siding can be seen in every direction. It’s really quite comforting to know that everyone else in my neighborhood is just like me. Diversity is overrated. "
  • Meghan F.
"I’ve lived here most of my life and love the safe community and schools. My daughters both love their school and I feel good about sending them daily "
  • Chasity J.
"OFallon is a great city with a small town feel. i feel safe here, feel safe to go to any part of OFallon. You can live in a subdivision or you can find plenty of homes on 1 to 30 acres on these outskirts of town and only be 5 to 10 from large malls, mini malls and just about every well known stores or small local stores. During rush hour traffic can get a little backed up but it's only a 10 minute backup at most. "
  • Deneen S.
"Great place to raise your kids the school district is great. People for the most part are friendly. Great atmosphere "
  • Slw2364
"family's are friendly and have lots of get togethers. there is a neighborhood easter egg hunt, 4th of july social, movie nights and lots of trick or treats at Halloween. "
  • Natkor03
"Everyone is friendly!! Dogs are always on a leash if they are being walked. If they aren't on a leash they are well trained and stay in their front yards. "
  • Amy
"There are lots of communal events in Twin Chimneys, and in OFallon in general. It’s a large suburban town, but close enough to St. Louis that it’s easy to head in for a Cards game, etc. Great value for the $$$ out here."
  • carly s
