"Parks and nice blue collar folks. Plenty of pets and reasonably quiet. Groceries and some restaurants very close"
  • Trulia User
"We been here for over 2 years now and we absolutely love the area , people keep to themselves but keep an eye out for you and it’s quiet and we loved that people walk by all the time. We’re happy here !"
  • Trulia User
"Really great place to live. I lived here for 5 years now. And it has been great, I am racing 2 toddlers and it is safe as any other suburban neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"Certain pockets of Meadowview are still gems like homes on Henrietta Dr. where there are no sidewalks and homes have close to acreage. "
  • Trulia User
"This area is okay for being south Sacramento. The schools are okay too. The food is amazing I wouldn't go out at night and some parts are shady."
  • Mark W.
"Easy jump onto 5 fwy and about 7 minutes to downtown. Freeport also takes you into downtown at a slower rate. Great shopping all within 10 minutes."
  • Itsbecki
"I see a lot of loose dogs running around that seem to get out of their yards. There are quite a few people that walk dogs in the neighborhood "
  • Kathy A.
"I have lived in the neighborhood for almost 4 years I know most of my neighbors and it is a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part! There is a park down the street! And most of the neighbors look out for each other! "
  • Nataliedvs89
"It can be a nice place to live but that is heavily dependant on the area. I live close to the home depot. I've used transit to go to Sac City and Sac State with little to no issues. Besides the frequently late buses. Occasional gun shots can be heard but I've felt generally safe in my house which I currently rent and my mom has lived in for almost seven years. Great neighbors!"
  • Aaron F.
"The neighborhood has calmed down since earlier years. it its still not the safest place in sac county!"
  • Crystal W.
"There not really any community events this neighborhood special because people watch out for other people. And keep the crime rate down"
  • Phatboi76
"We have community meetings at least once a month at the park, which might include a cultural potluck, education booths and music bands. "
  • Sandra T.
"if you mind your business...we will all be ok. it's getting better the bad is little by little leaving the area. but homeless people everywhere now. "
  • Denise B.
"community center with the pool and access to computers free foods they give away light raol easy ro get ro"
  • Denise B.
"the community center across the street that has alot of stuff for the kids to do. thats what i like about ther area"
  • Sexytshr11
"They would love it there’s a lot of animals in the neighborhood and to my knowledge people are happy to know that everyone’s dogs may keep everyone feeling safe due to their barking when I hear other dogs barking I’m not bothered by it I have animals of my own and they are my world"
  • Crystal S.
"I dont walk my own dogs n this neighborhood, to many scary people on the street, and they drive/speed down my street even with speed bumps"
  • Brandon R.
"I’m not sure I see a lot of people walking there dogs daily around the neighborhood. I haven’t heard any complaints but i would guess it’s there able to go about and feel free enough to walk about "
  • Regina
"Just moved here and so far it’s ok The weekend I moved in two neighborhoods came by and said and welcome to the neighborhood, they even gave me a run down about there other neighbors "
  • Valencia R.
"Umm a lot of police and robberies happened over there in Meadowview I got my car stolen last time I lived over there "
  • Mayra L.
"It’s peaceful for the most part, Usually the drama comes from neighbors visitors. Other than that you may hear some tires burning rubber from the younger kids with nothing else better to do but I lived in meadowview all my life. Like any where else don’t leave valuables in site because not everyone is a good person."
  • Markrodrigo06
"Nice neighborhood and the place is good. Has a park and a soccer field next to the School. Very near to home depot, staples and Smart & Final"
  • Mayraklopez8
"It’s a calm neighborhood but sometimes their are people that fly down the road, so if you have any little ones keep an extra eye on them."
  • Lovescandy74
"the recent concert in the parks that were offered along with activities located at the community center for kids and families "
  • Alzetta D.
"Easy access to Highway 5, 50, and 80. I no longer have a commute as I now work locally. Therefore, no need to access freeways to arrive to my office. "
  • Alzetta D.
"My commute is great now and prior when I use to travel to Bay Area for work. Easy access to freeways. "
