After bringing concerns to the vice Principal he was disrespectful and wanted to hide incidents at the school without telling other parents. There was retaliatory comments and treatment after we brought concerns to the Vice Principal, from both the VP and Teacher. My child came home and let us know the teacher even stated "what happens at school stays at school" the conversations the elementary children are having are shockingly explicit. The academics are top-notch - and the AP student enrollment is misleading, because NPHS offers a *wide* variety of dual credit courses. Students have the ability to graduate with a semester or a year's worth of college credits. The teaching staff is a veteran staff, there are few discipline issues, there is a high sense of community. Property values are high because people want to be in New Palestine. Great academics, great community, great sense of school pride, great athletics. There are a lot of extracurricular options, and every one pursues excellence - the athletic programs have won 10 state championships combined this century, the band and choir groups routinely advance to state, the school newspaper has been a state finalist multiple years in a row, there is an extensive and successful robotics program that has been invited to national competitions. NPHS is a great school in a great community. It's a good place to raise a family.Parent Review3y ago
