3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm currently a freshman student there and I can honestly say I've never felt more proud to say I am from asbury park or "park" as we asburians call it , the staff is amazing teachers really connect with their student in a one on one environment some teachers even take the time of day to organize field trips , after school activities and even talk groups . Whether or not we have low test scores it does not reflect on the students who attend aphs some of us are artistically gifted in ways I don't even know how to describe others are more of a student athlete ( which everyone knows we are highly good ) t most students are enrolled in an academy whether it may be intro to public law & safety or engineering etc . I highly doubt any outsiders from this school really now what our school is really like from the inside and if you're gonna take some old person from the board of educations word for it , well let's just say youre ignorant towards this matter , one of my favorite things about my school is the view from the cafeteria , where you can see a glimpse of the Atlantic ocean , the beautiful Victorian houses located across deal lake and the best part our football Field maybe because blue is overall my favorite color ! It reminds there's always a better a option you just have to grasp it . I'm not popular but I do know a fairly good amount of students , and I think I can say most of them have a goal they thrive to accomplish , some want to go to college and play Proffesional football (there's deifinitely a couple who are gonna make it ) , others who want to go to college and study whatever it is they love the most . the only difference from my school and other kids school is that our problems go publicly because other school ( not all ) problems go unnoticed .Student Review10y ago3 Reviews - Bradley Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have some complains about this middle school for my cousin that just graduated. Not to make the school look bad but for it to improve that department. He stated that there was only 1 para for the kids that speaks creole no Spanish paras! he felt like she kept screaming at the latino kids but it’s because they couldn’t really understand what she was saying sometimes. There was a teacher who only really spoke English but tried her best to translate everything for the Latino kids. Then there was a really old teacher that spoke clear Spanish but he felt like he couldn’t connect to her culturally. If you have a lot of Latino kids who only really speak Spanish. I feel like you guys need to get staff members that can culturally connect with the kids, not by language but that connect with them culturally like how they are growing up. Someone who has the same struggle not some teachers that brag they go outside of the country like Spain, Italy, but a teacher or staff that can be like oh yeah I know exactly what your talking about or that have empathy about what is going on in the country so the students can feel safe. I hope someone could bring this up to the board meeting because this had to change. Thank youOther Review1y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 1401 Kingsley St #HDRZ2M.

"If I take the Asbury Circle I can get to work in less than 10 minutes but summertime traffic is difficult when people don’t know how to drive on the circle"

"There are schools stores and parks around here that are walking distance. The buses run almost every hour . Driving is good but since everything is mostly walking distance I would save gas to walk. Especially on a nice day"

"Great. I’m working from home. Traffic in Asbury is pretty awful. Parking is even worse. I live in a building with a garage with 2 spots which is hard to find in Asbury."

"Tons of dogs! Only issue a that many dog owners do not clean up after their dogs. There is a beach dedicated to dogs which is great for socializing and tiring your dog out. A bunch of dog friendly bars and restaurants around too. Has to be a top 20 town in terms of being dog friendly"

"Watch out, there is a few big dogs loose dogs out on the side walks too often on Emory between 1th and Asbury Av. And also on Bond st same side streets. Dog owners should be ticketed for not use precaution. Specially with aggressive dogs like that 😬 "

"More pet friendly rent allowed for those looking to rent in your area. It also should not be so expensive if you have a small pet. A reasonable security deposit is very fair"
