8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience is fantastic at CCE! We have been going to CCE for 4 years and I have two kids enrolled. We have had nothing but too notch teaching, a great community of parents, teachers and leaders and the school has an amazing culture in it. My kids are thriving at CCE and we couldn’t be happier.Parent Review7y ago14 Reviews - Ranch View Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers at this school are leaving in large numbers due to burnout, unhappiness, and stress. They report being manipulated, gaslighted, and micromanaged by a principal who takes credit for their work and keeps them in the dark. Their pleas for change have been met with minimal gestures, like coffee and treats. Unless conditions improve, the school will continue to lose experienced and dedicated teachers. -A concerned community member.Other Review8mo ago19 Reviews - Thunderridge High School

"I’ve lived here with my wife for seven years. Our neighbors are great and always happy to trade watching homes if someone’s out of town. There are lots of neighborhood activities, kids playing in the three local parks, enjoying the swimming pool, tennis, basketball, pickle ball, playground, and lake with its paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes. We commonly see boys walking home with a stringer of bluegill and bass and the HOA puts on parties at least once per quarter. The HOA fee is the lowest we’ve ever experienced despite having an Olympic size pool available to all residents. The speed limit is low going through the neighborhood, but makes it safe for kids. The elementary school and kindergarten in the community makes getting to school for young kids really easy. There’s also the Jeffco library off Bowles that’s about 3 miles from the community center and Columbine is our local high school. There are plenty of places to walk, bicycle and the community center is a good place to play cards and have book clubs after hours. I would give it a 11 out of 10 as a family friendly neighborhood."

"So many parks around, I’ve been to 6+ around here my whole life. It’s a super safe area, kids in my block are constantly having water play dates or basketball matches, and there’s always weekly events during summer for the kids to do bounce houses, cotton candy, concert for the parents. And at least in my neighborhood, we have had kids, dogs, cat get a bit father than they should, and everytime, some one will walk them right back to the front door to make sure they get home okay. Obviously I don’t know about any other blocks, but let’s just say my block has had a lot of 2 year old run aways"

"It is a safe area in the middle of a high crime zone. The neighbors look out for each other and take pride in keeping the area clean and their homes and front yards nice. It’s very enjoyable to take walks around and look at their well kept places, and see everyone working hard on making it look better. "
