7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love, love, love this school! All the teachers which my now Senior had were exceptional ! They offer a lot of AP classes, French, Latin and Spanish , which I find amazing for a "rural" town like Owensboro and they offer College Classes! Overall, my kid enjoyed his time at this school and the most important, he felt safe! There will always kids that take the wrong path in life, but I have to say that I got the impression that this school is handling it well! I strongly agree with the rating! we have lived in bigger cities and I am glad we moved here so our kid could have this experience!Parent Review6y ago2 Reviews - College View Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a recently graduated student at this middle school as of 2 years ago and I can honestly say that this school made me the person I am today. This school builds leadership skills, the willingness to learn and an overall healthy outlook on life.Other Review3y ago5 Reviews - Country Heights Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had 2 kids attending this school. I am surprised it is rated just at 6. The teachers are great, the principal is awesome. They implemented the Toolbox by Dovetail learning just a couple of years ago and I personally see a huge difference on how positively this effects the kids and the school environment! We have lived in different states and experienced different school systems, but this is by far the best school and school district we have had! also I like that this particular school is on the outskirts of town, so traffic is not as bad and since the school is smaller, they can focus more on the students. The environment in very including and family oriented. The principal always talks about the "husky family" and you honestly get that feel! Also I love that they bought the "Love and Logic" program and are implementing it into their school, teaching the teachers and staff as well offering free education to the parents as a monthly "Coffee with a Counselor" session! You can also tell, that all the staff is a Team and they respect and love each other! My daughter loves this school and all they have to offer, especially the "Connect Classes" which are fun for the students and the morning assembly which are so much fun to watch when the school posts a video! They also have a Robotics and Academic Team! I highly recommend this school!Parent Review6y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 3712 Saddle Bnd #OXX1SY.

"We’ve been here for sixteen years and our neighborhood along with the city is family friendly. There is a green belt around the city for walking or bike riding that connects at several locations for easy access. The playgrounds and parks are throughout including sports parts and a new dog park. You feel safe just about everywhere and can get anyplace in about ten minutes using the bypass. We have a new hospital and healthcare is good in this area and there is a variety of religious opportunities. Schools are excellent and local colleges offer just about any occupation our children want to explore. We feel very lucky to have been raised in Owensboro and to live in the newer neighborhood that we have called home for so long. "
