  • Jennifer Leeds Byerly
"Close community that really watches out for each other and animals in the area. Deep sense of pride in this area"
  • William Stoll
"It backs up to a nice park with recreation areas and a golf course. There’s always events going on near the area such as food vendors, car shows etc."
  • 85xjtwh6zq

"The Halloween festival is a lot of fun with lots of cool costumes and cool booths to check out. There’s usually food trucks and drink options too. Parking is very tricky for this event, but if you live close enough you can just walk"
  • Xmhdqqftw8
"Not sure. I have cats. I see people walking them. Not any dog parks in this area and smaller yard sizes "
  • Zanna dibartoli
"The 500 race makes it’s fun here!! we live close to Speedway not really downtown Indy , so I don’t know what events there are besides the 500 oh there’s the brickyard that’s really fun too. "
  • Trulia User
"Ok. There’s sometimes too much traffic but, I guess that’s normal. Some traffic lights could be synced better. And they need to do something about the potholes in some of the central downtown area of Indianapolis. More turn signals could be added to some of these lights as well may I add. Other than that it really just depends on where you stay on how you feel how the area is. I can’t complain. Indianapolis is an amazing place to raise a beautiful family as well as go to school. Great learning opportunities and the nightlife is cool. It can get violet sometimes, especially with the youth right now, but I truly believe that Indianapolis can get better. It’s up to the elders, middle aged, and adults to come together to help our community come back togethers as one. It definitely takes a village for our youth so we might as well come back together as a village to finish helping grow our youth and younger generation into the smart people they can be."
  • Brownronesha452
"It’s a busy area a bunch a drivers, many ducks, grounds aren’t too clean but not because of trash but because of the duck poop. The people are nice. The drivers are mindful but along the still speed "
  • Nvhnc7btp8
"Excellent schools and park in historic Herron-Morton Place. Lots of families with children and pet families. Family and pet friendly restaurants, ice cream shop and other food and beverage amenities as well"
  • Maloys
"Trick or treating for Halloween in October and also Christmas lights during the winter season around Christmas "
  • Dewaddle
"All kinds of great dog walking in the area both on the streets and in the woods. Great pads to take you down to the White river or you can see all kinds of wildlife, including bald eagles, river, otters, and all kinds of fun things for your dog to want to chase."
  • Elliott.donna1
"Dogs get walked but the street is too busy to let them loose. Plenty of space behind us to walk them "
  • Debi Woodmansee
"I live a few minutes drive to local dining options and grocery stores, hospitals and the library. 13 minutes to my work. "
  • Joseph.moellman
"Community events where everyone feels welcome and contributes to a wonderful and safe neighborhood. "
  • Dawn Williams
"I really like the neighborhood and the location, but I wish they would do a better job cleaning up the crime around here"
