"Dogs have a lot of area to run with multiple hog parks and running trails. Lots of friendly people and dogs "
  • Taylorv591
"Being around the right people creates a good community. It’s great for taking walks and getting out in nature. "
  • Novapup6308
"lots of fun things to do for any age children. from parks to arcades. "
  • Selena P.
"It’s a very quiet place to live and kids love to play out side all the time. Near local store and schools. "

"Have your kids play outside, but watch them!!! Report any suspicious activity.... there are good areas and not so good areas.. be wise, and be aware.. Have fun!!"
  • Trulia User
"We have lived here for 25 years and loved it. Planes are noisy at times but otherwise very quiet. A great place to sit on your deck or patio. Rarely windy in the valley, very pleasant. "
  • Marchamberlin
"We love the parks and feel is a good area to raise our children. The Hights has everything we need for shopping close by. We feel it’s safe and quiet. "
  • Lizzyvalenzuela2000
"I grew up here and our neighbors are very friendly. It's pretty quiet and peace. The city is close by but you still feel separate from it. "
  • K S.
"There is an amazing walking path that goes the whole length of the heights. My family loves taking bike rides, walks, and runs all year. They keep it plowed all winter too! Great for the kids to get to school."
  • Berve1743
"Don't let your kids play on the streets and sidewalks. People own race cars and other toys so it can be loud at points."
  • Pskoltiska1
"Too far to drive with heavy traffic. Some days it takes 30 minutes and its only 9 miles away. It should take 15 minutes at most. It’s worse in the winter! "
  • SB
"The heights is a great area. It is very kid friendly. We live in Alkali Creek and we always see kids outside playing. It’s a place where neighbors help neighbors. "
  • Olbtalkinghands
"I love my neighborhood. I have live in this area for more than 35 yrs. I like the country feel. I feel safe. I’m close to Main St. and many different stores."
  • Malcolm R.
"I drive my truck to work every day. It’s an average time of 15 to 20 minutes each way. There’s a lot of traffic during my usual commute because of timing"
  • Chelseakt20
"Smaller yards, but thankfully there is a large park and field to use. New walking path around the subdivision is a huge plus too. "
  • Morgan D.
"Halloween trick or treating our street has great decor and treat offerings. Other neighborhoods in the heights come to visit for Halloween "
  • Ccwriterseney
"Everyone waves and says hello. I have enjoyed seeing the Antelope in the yard or surrounding area. It is peaceful for early morning coffee with my grandkids, the views and fresh air. A great place to live and in my case visit. I love it."
  • Katylynmacqueen
"It’s a great location for families with quick access to necessities and nearby the the latest attractions."
  • Jodi A.
"Nice and quiet. Love seeing the deer around. Close to both of my jobs. Have a lot of family that lives here in the heights so no matter what part of the heights I live in, I’ll still have them close by. "
  • Shelley B.
"Everyone watches out for each other. In the evening when we get home, you can stand outside for hours visiting about so many things. If we are leaving town, our neighbors keep watch over our house and we we do the same for them. It feels like a family and not just a neighborhood. "
  • Ronbigman
"I live in this neighborhood and I can't take the train noise because I live next to railroad track and there always train coming therw all day and all night "
  • Laura J. S.
"this neighborhood can be nice, but I have also met a lot of people that I wish I hadn't. a lot of them will steal or lie just to make five dollars."
