This school is not the BEST at a lot because they are broke but it is so fun and I love it everyone here finds their group of friends it doesn't have to much bullying but there is some. Over all it is soooooo fun and I love how you can learn and goof off sometimes. The teachers are mostly the best ones ever as well. You should come here

Last school year, my daughter experienced repeated racial harassment from older students while passing in the hallways between classes. She was subjected to comments about her hair, skin color, and, at one point, was called the N-word by a group of senior boys and girls.We reported these incidents to the school multiple times and were told the issue had been “handled.” However, the harassment continued and actually escalated. When we followed up again, we were informed that another student had also reported the same group. The school’s response was to have the students write a paper about why they shouldn’t make those comments. There was no parent involvement, no meaningful accountability, and no follow-up with us as her parents.Due to the lack of appropriate action and support, we escalated the matter to the school district. The district opened an investigation and offered our daughter the option to transfer to another school within the district regardless of space. We ultimately chose Air Academy High School.Both her mother and I are dual military, and our children have attended multiple military-based schools. We have never experienced anything like this before. It is disappointing and concerning that this was allowed to continue without serious intervention. No child should have to endure racial harassment at school, and no parent should feel unheard when raising concerns about their child’s safety and well-being.

I have had 3 children attend this elementary. We came from Texas and had planned on only staying only a year and chose to move here permanently because of how great this elementary is! Principal: fantastic! Shows up for kids extra curricular things on his own time to show them support. Teachers: Every year I think that this is the best teacher we have ever had and they just get better and better. It is incredible how loved each of my kids felt. (If you have the chance of getting Cleveland, Gradisar or Livingston. . . Lucky you). IEP program: unbelievably excellent. My son is intellectually 2 grades behind his classmates and his special teachers have never made him feel this way. They make him excited to go to school. If I had to change something. . . I would choose to Teach Spanish as their foreign language.
