9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe heard how great this school was with academics and were happy for the switch until we realized how horrible the school is in dealing with special needs. If you aren’t perfect they want you out of their school and they will go serious lengths to run you out. Have an attorney on standby with this school cause they don’t follow any educational rules. Very scary place!Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Greenback School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was very happy with this school up until this years expansion into the old middle school building. There is NO functioning cafeteria no library available in the 345 (grades 3rd-4th) building. My straight A student is struggling and has complained about limited class time due to testing (core standards) and the need to be bussed between the schools for lunch due to the on set of cold weather. I am strongly considering removing my children from LES next year.Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews - Philadelphia Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI believe Steekee Elementary is one of the best schools in Tennessee. I just wish my grandson lived closer so he could go to school here. The teacher and staff have such a heart for the kids and wanting to see them learn and be all they can be...Other Review11y ago6 Reviews

"They wouldn’t not like this neighborhood because dogs and cats just roam around here and can attack at any time "

"An older Town with some nice little parks. Nothing at the downtown area, so thats a let down but overall a safe community."

"Several red lights during high traffic times, but totally worth it to be 10 minutes from Knoxville, while still enjoying the small-town feel."

"I do see people walk their dogs. But most dogs are in fenced in yards. Or the dogs are indoor pets. Animals do need to be on a leash. "

"Cornerstone Village is a very small circle. Everyone keeps their homes and yards in very good shape. Everyone is very friendly. "

"The bedroom community of Lenoir City offers peace and quiet yet is just minutes to some of the best shopping and restaurants in Tennessee! Excellent hospitals and nearby parks for strolls."

"I live here. This is a great neighborhood. The schools are all about your children. Great teachers. There are lots of restaurants and places to shop. If you want night life, Knoxville is just 20 minutes up the road. Close to here are walking trails and places for the children to get involved in recreational sports. I moved to Lenoir City when I was 11 and have seen a lot of changes. This is a great town to raise a family or just to retire in..the people are friendly. If you work in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, or South towards Sweetwater, this is a great place, it is close to the interstate. just a hop, skip and a jump and you are there."
