What Locals Say about Baytown

  • Ruth G.
"For the most part the area is a decent place to walk your dogs. The only problem I see is that about 50% of the dog owners do not pick up poop from their dogs. there is a great alternative about 3 mi away is a dog park that is well groomed has an area for both large dogs and small dogs. I rather take my dogs there on the weekend so they have plenty of area to play and run."

Awesome, friendly, good people good neighborhood cameras all over the place people watch out for each other and we help others here if help is needed. Nice yards clean houses. I broke down cars sitting no looting around this area. Packages delivers on time and they don’t leave packages without anyone Being home."

"People mostly keep to themselves around my current area. It is a predominantly hispanic community now and a lot of people are selling. We are moving as well as the crime and traffic has skyrocketed the last year. It takes almost 30 mins to simply get across town now when it used to only take about 10. "

"There’s a lot of great parks in the area with plenty to do for kids. This town is big enough to always meet new friends but not too big where everything is over crowded and you can still see a familiar face every now and then. "
