In exchange for the inconvenience of being 51 miles from downtown San Diego, you will not only be rewarded with gorgeous views every day you look out the window and drive the smooth curvy country roads, but also get one of the top school districts in the area. The high school is on the tech cutting edge with small class sizes and high quality educators. By comparison, living in a similar level school district in the San Diego area will cost you at least another $300,000 on the price of your home. I had never heard of this little town when I was looking for my home, but one visit, my first, I was hooked and knew I had to live here... never look back never regretted it for a minute.
