Vanessa Minnillo And Nick Lachey Are Selling Their Family-Friendly Encino Home

Former 98 Degrees crooner Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa Minnillo Lachey, have listed their Encino, CA, home for sale. The six-bed, eight-bath spread sits in the San Fernando Valley town, and the couple have lived there since 2011 (they bought the property for $2.85 million). Now they’ve added a $3.995 million price tag. I know, I was hoping for a “98” in there too.

Built in 1981, the 8,134-square-foot contemporary Mediterranean property is tucked away on a cul-de-sac, behind gates and lush greenery. With the style of a transitional Montecito home, the home has soaring ceilings, exposed beams, and an open floor plan throughout the spacious main level. A formal living room, media room, formal dining room, and large family room provide lots of space for a growing family — Nick and Vanessa have two children — while the chef’s kitchen, which has a butler’s pantry and a breakfast area, can accommodate any aspiring chef.

With a flat, grassy yard, pool house, and outdoor sitting areas, the property is well-suited for entertaining. But the crown jewel of the property is the master suite: In addition to his-and-hers closets and a spacious master bath, it has a separate sitting room and office. (Not to mention romantic lighting and fireplaces throughout, which we’re guessing have inspired Nick to sing a few bars of “I Do” for Vanessa.)
