UPDATE! Reality TV Star Josh Altman Lists His Hollywood Hills Mansion For $8M

The 'Million Dollar Listing' star is hoping to make a multi-million dollar deal.

If you’re one of the most powerful realtors in Los Angeles, chances are you’ve got a sprawling mansion of your own. And Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles star Josh Altman knows that all too well. But now, the real estate tycoon and reality star is looking to sell his three-bed, four-bath home in the highly-coveted Bird Streets of the Hollywood Hills for $8 million. (If you’re not familiar, the ritzy neighborhood is where a diverse flock (get it?) of stars ranging from Matthew Perry and Kelly Osbourne to Clippers coach Doc Rivers and Megan Mullally have all owned properties.) It’s safe to say he’ll make a bundle on the sale, not only because he’s been renting out the home for $38,000 per month since May, but since he snagged it back in 2014 for $2.675 million. You don’t have to be a math whiz to know that means “cha-ching.”

Located just off the Sunset Strip in the Hollywood Hills, Josh’s 3,500-square-foot home epitomizes sleek modern architecture. Built in 2001, the home is big on privacy thanks to an entry gate with a call box and smart-home technology. Guests are greeted by a dramatic living room, where 20-foot ceilings tower overhead, highlighting the custom, smoked-glass, 16-pendant chandelier. In the kitchen, Calacatta Borghini marble and top-of-the-line appliances pair with custom cabinetry. And with a 150-bottle wine cellar, you’ll never run out of supplies.

Showstopping parties can be held on the home’s multiple patios or rooftop deck, which is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and custom fire pit. Overlooking the hills and canyons with glimpses of city lights, the 7,160-square-foot lot also features a sparkling swimming pool with plenty of space for spreading out on a chaise lounge.

To say that Josh knows the Los Angeles market would be an understatement. In addition to selling estates belonging to some of Hollywood’s hottest stars like Mila Kunis and Hayden Panettiere, he has bought and sold some serious real estate for himself. Back in 2013, he paid $2.3 million for an outdated home in Hollywood, with plans to tear it down and construct a $9 million mega-mansion. Pretty amazing to think the Newton, MA, native got his start by flipping condos with his brothers.
