"I've lived in this area for 18 years. neighbors have come and go but we all maintain the front of our houses, keeps eachothers sidewalk cleaned. flowers, water fountains and beautiful trees are here that make you feel like your not in the Bronx. Owners walking their dogs in the morning, we all smile and say good morning and the same with the evening walks. "

"It’s one of the Bronx’s rarest hidden gems.. neighbors are all kind to each other, it’s a great place to raise kids and grow old! My only complaint is that Evers Marina attracts a lot of unwanted attention to this area and a lot of accidents and deaths have resulted from the Marina goers. "
  • Kattyr87

It's a block from the Long Island Sound and there are a lot of beach clubs here as well! Great community and area to raise a family! Last decent part of the Bronx!"
  • Sandra R.

"It's nice but there is no sense of community here and the public school system is nothing to rave about. "
  • Bronx Mom
"The park has sports you can watch. There is a playground for little kids with lots of fun swings and stuff to climb. There is a track you can walk or run on and a path that goes through the park. "
  • Meetthesellers
"We have a strong sense of community. We have the largest park in NYC. We have block parties and celebrate the 4th of July!"
