"I use the el, bus or bike to work. It’s very convenient and easy. We are a family of 5 and don’t own a car. "

"it's very family friendly with good schools. the only drawback is that the housing market is tight. many people have had to leave because developers haven't included affordable housing in their plans. "

"I've lived in the neighborhood for 12 years. Wonderful neighborhood with a family feel. Lots of single family homes that give it a (sort of) suburban vibe."
  • Romabi913

  • Annekaa
"I can walk to the El and catch the train all the way to work. It's a 35-45 minute commute depending on switch issues or lack thereof at the major train intersections."

  • gladnowtravel
"1 blk from the train, with independent restaurants and stores, the Old Town School of Folk Music, wonderful park spaces, free public concerts all summer long, many festivals, a tight knit community, perfect for children. It's the village in the city."
  • shykofsky
"This street is sunny and mellow. It's so safe you could literally leave your doors unlocked. People with little children and pets are all around. Parking on the street is easy, no permit. School are nearby and of course, Lincoln Square with shops and restaurants... takes about 5 minutes by foot to reach the heart of Lincoln Ave (nr. Lawrence)"
