What Locals Say about Huntington Hills

  • Skummer3
"I have lived here for 11 years and I love all of my neighbors. It’s a small community within our community. We borrow sugar and our kids walk into each other’s homes. It’s a great family friendly neighborhood!"
  • Skummer3
"Great schools! Family focused neighborhood with neighborhood pool! Walk to Fossil Creek Park! Take your kids to the Woolley Mammoth Park and your dogs to the dog park! Everyone is friendly and cares about taking caring care of their homes."
  • Skummer3
"Attached to Fossil Creek Park and near the south max station. Many cul-de-sacs so neighbors become family."

"Walk to one of the best parks in Fort Collins (Fossil Creek Park). This is a safe place to enjoy nighttime walks and take a swim, and also the best place to raise children (Fossil Ridge High School attendance area). Many homes in this neighborhood have views of Horsetooth Mountain and the foothills. It is a quiet area and not too close to restaurants...the closest would be The Outback Steakhouse on Harmony and Lemay. There is a tunnel that goes under Lemay, so many of my neighbors keep their own golf cart and drive it to Southridge Greens from their house, so it may not provide the "hip clubs" nightlife but it does provide a ton of outdoor entertainment like easy access to a golf course, roller hockey outdoor rink, baseball fields, nearby playgrounds, running track, basketball, dog park, skate park, tennis, and a small lake (Portner Reservoir) to walk around at Fossil Creek Park. This is one of the premier neighborhoods for those in Fort Collins that value a safe and active lifestyle in sacrifice to living near the "bar" nightlife in Old Town. More info about the neighborhood is on the following website from the City of Fort Collins: http://www.fcgov.com/parks/pdf/fossilcreekparkinfo.pdf"
