"The neighborhood streets arent typically too busy. Most people drive appropriately..................."
  • Aaron M.
"This has been a safe and comfortable place to live. There are some crabby expletive here and there but most of my neighbors are pretty cool."
  • Sydgindler
"People walk dogs all the time. Shady park is nice for dogs. Wide bike trail and small stream with lots of squirrels. We often meet other dogs and this is a good way to meet neighbors."
  • Brook R.
"Great kid family neighborhood. Everyone is quiet and the all the neighbors are nice. It’s a great neighborhood to raise a family. The kids school is in walking distance. Grocery stores are very close. The kids can also walk across the street to go see if a movie at the theater. Over all great community. "
  • Robert.hunter87
"Safe neighborhood with a lot of young families. It’s also conveniently close to the mall, stores, parks, and a greenway"
  • Klcromer83
"I have lived in the area for about a year. Nice area to live with small children, walking distance to parks. "
  • Klcromer83
"I have lived in this neighborhood for the past year. We love the area, and find that it is very family friendly. We would definitely recommend the area as a great place to live and raise children. "
  • Klcromer83
"Our neighborhood is close to shopping and local eateries. It is very quiet and feels very safe to live in. We have quick access to the max as well as biking/running/walking trails. "
  • "I live in the immediate area and am a retired educator. The three PSD schools in this locale are rated excellent. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and convenient. The outstanding 22-acre Troutman Park is two short blocks away. "
  • "Walking distance to elementary school and public park, 5 minutes to grocery store, library, bowling alley, gym, movie theatre, bank and community college, yet a quiet neighborhood."
  • "My wife and I take the dog to the park just about everyday and use the tennis courts at Troutman Park. If you are considering moving here...walk through the park and you will be hard pressed to find a bigger neighborhood park in Fort Collins unless you go to City Park or Fossil Creek Park. In the summer you will see the neighborhood kids fishing in the ponds at Troutman. Most homes in this neighborhood have large backyards! We also walk to Target on Saturdays and it's not to far of a drive to the mall. The bike trail is nice and it attaches to all the other bike trails (Spring Creek Trail and Poudre Trail). I like the restaurants: We can walk to Hibachi and McCoy's Morning Glory breakfast without crossing any major streets. We also can take the bridge at the end of Troutman Pkway to Starbucks that's inside Barnes and Noble. My wife and I are active and love to walk rather than drive. Some cons: if you ride public transportation...you would have to walk to harmony or horsetooth but everyone in the neighborhood owns vehicles. Another con is not much for nightlife...you have to drive to LoDo in Denver or Old Town. There is a cool neighborhood pub called Pappy's that has good food and Irish brews on tap. We only moved to expand to get a bigger home."
