King’s has been a port in the storm for this exhausted set of parents! We have had multiple children in King’s from Junior High through 12th grade, we cannot recommend it highly enough! The academic rigor is rare these post-Covid days. The warm and safe environment for my students has been a life-saver after a few of my children were bullied in another area school. The loving faculty and staff are over-the-top supportive of each student in their classrooms! Two of our King’s graduates got into their choice universities with scholarships and are well on their way to being successful community members. Thank you King’s Schools!

King's is a Christian school with high academic standards and great teachers. What some people don't understand is that King's is a private Christian school that believes in biblical principles and that God designed man to be married to a woman. Their only mistake was losing sight of this over the past 10 +/- years, and allowing the school to become a bit liberal, including teachers on staff who were vocal in support of LGBTQ issues. So, I do agree that it was slightly painful to get King's back to the Christian standard that they were founded on and still believe in by renewing their mission statement. As a born again Christian, I highly commend this effort on the Board's part.To the parents or teachers who don't like this, there are lots of other schools - private, public, Christian, etc. who are more liberal where you can send your kids. Regarding the teachers who disagreed with this, I believe all teachers are required to sign a statement of faith when they are hired. So if they signed this, but truly didn't believe in it, then who's truly at fault?...As for the students, I have found that it's often the parents, not the kids, who have an issue with the renewed mission statement. Certainly not all.King's still welcome's and loves all students who attend school there, even if some aren't Christian's. Is King's perfect? No, but I would trust my kids there vs. most schools based on the quality of the teachers and their mission statement / commitment to Christ. There aren't many places in this world any longer where you can "be" a Christian. As I said earlier, if that's not what you want for your kids, then there are lots more liberal schools out there that might be a better fit for you. I don't know why some people choose to badmouth King's because they are doing what they feel is best for their school and students. There are very few places outside of church where Christian's these days can be Christian's, and not judged for their beliefs on LQBTQ or woke issues. This doesn't mean (most) Christian's don't love and care about people who do believe in or live the life of a LGBTQ person (not sure I phrased that right). They just don't believe they are following biblical principles in how they choose to live their lives. I applaud the renewed mission statement - thank you!

Kings is now not a good school due to new CEO and policies.

As a parent, Kings has been fantastic! It has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and I highly recommend the school to anybody. With the new building for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) the school will only get better. (Opening in the fall of 2013)
