Read what parents are saying about Faith Christian AcademyI was student for 3 years in this school. The curriculum is lacking, we had the same professors (sometimes even 3 times per day) for the completely different subjects and they obviously had no idea what they were teaching. Worst of all is the preference to certain students, if you are not in that "in" list you would get help for anything (I got not help at all when applying to college, I had to do everything on my own even send my grades), they would let their favorite students get away with everything. Do not recommend.
Posted by a community member on 5/18/2021Both of my sons attend this school. Great learning environment. Teachers really care about their students. They attend k3 and kindergarten. Their curriculum is pretty good, my son was able to read at the first grade level in k-4. Only trade off is that since they are a private school, they can't provide special education services. We would have to have speech therapy outsourced from the Ysleta district for my youngest son at the school. Other than that, it is a great learning environment, and we love how our children are in a Christian environment.
Posted by a community member on 1/31/2017Great school, knowledgeable teacher, safe and fun learning environment. My kids love this school they seems to never want to leave always asking to be there earlier and picked up a little more late"please" If they are that happy I am happy as well.
Posted by a parent on 5/22/2016I love having my daughter in a school that gives me peace of mind. I know that she is safe and around teachers and staff who care about her well being. After many negative experiences in the public school system myself, I highly recommend a private school education. She is excelling and the teachers and staff make an effort to encourage her. It is also wonderful to have her in a Christian environment. In public school I would have no control over what she is exposed to. Here, I can trust she is in a safe secure environment. I will be keeping her here through graduation.
Posted by a parent on 1/28/2015The staff is great, some teachers are good people, some good teachers and some bad teachers and people. Some good students and a lot of bullies. At your own risk!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my daughter's 2nd year at Rainbow School and my son's first. The teachers are amazing, they are caring, they are loving and genuinely love what they do. My kids are learning so much, I love how involved everyone is, the communication is great, I truly love seeing my kids be happy going to school. The first years of their education will set the tone for the rest of their learning journey and Rainbow School is setting them up for success. Thank you to Ms. Krystal, Ms. Lucy, Ms. Risario and Ms. Yolie you are all truly a blessing to have in my children's lives. My kids feel so happy and safe going to Rainbow School.Parent Review7mo ago - North Loop Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhy is it that students are either perfect at this school, or the problem at this school? When a teacher berates a student in front of others, does this not harm our children. What does it teach those that witness such behavior? When is it acceptable to harm others with our words? Should not an adult know better than to chastise out young, to humiliate them in public? Start by making teachers more accountable. Patience is a virtue after all. Students need to be nurtured, all students, not just those with ties to faculty and staff. How can you have favoritism in a private Christian school setting be an allowed practice, if we are all the same in the eyes of our Lord? Don't put the blame all on the students, when the teachers don't know how to interact properly with students. If a child falls short, is ostracizing a child truly the way Jesus would handle a similar situation? And if in your teachings, one way does not work with some, find out the way that does. Recognize that our children are to be learning in school, yes! Yet, recognize that your parents have also asked this school to treat their children with the dignity and respect all Christians deserve.Parent Review10y ago - Life Center Christian Academy
