Read what parents are saying about Cathedral High SchoolThe principal in Cathedral High School offered me the teacher job position and told me he’ll call me back in a day to give me time to make decision. I made the decision to accept, so I called the principal back right away, but they did not answer anymore. I called every day for a whole week and no answer. Turned out that the principal hired someone else right after we hung up. He did not give me time to make a decision in taking the teacher job, he just hired someone else right away. He did not even give me a day to make a decision. Every employee has the right to have time to make a decision. Then the principal dogged my calls all week because he knew he did me wrong. The secretary called me back in a mean tone said that the position was filled. After ignoring my messages all week. Now I’m glad I didn’t work here because that showed how unprofessional they really are. I would not trust them again. Would you?

Posted by a parent on 7/26/2021At this school, bullying is an integral part of the culture, not only tolerated by the staff, but encouraged, and the staff often participates in it themselves. Students are quite often rowdy both on and off campus--actually more so than at any public school I've seen. Drug use is common, as at public schools, but the goody-two-shoes image Cathedral likes to project makes them hypocrites on that. Not interacting with girls on a daily basis leaves a big hole in a teenage boy's psychological development that a lot of these sad individuals don't seem to mind. You can actually get a good education at a public school; the public schools generally have more resources and you won't be left with this distorted view of the opposite sex born of unfamiliarity.
Posted by a student on 6/15/2013Cathedral High School in El Paso is truly unique. Besides the excellent academics, the school also promotes a sense of brotherhood and service. Young men who attend learn how to be truly Christian and to have integrity in a world which is truly in need of both. I recommend it highly.
Posted by a parent on 2/28/2013This is the best school in Texas. The bonds created with my classmates will last forever. In other high schools the students are only teach how to study and read a book. At Cathedral you are taught how to succeed in life. They will give you the tools for being a successful entrepreneur, 98% of students go to college and the 2% go to the military. This school changed my life. This will be the high school of my sons.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was bad and it went to worse the teachers there not all but most are very disrespectful. The principal never addressed a problem. There is no communication between parents and teachers. The lady’s working at the front office aren’t helpful at all. They give very bad customer service to the parents they give you attitude when you have a problem with a teacher. Since that principal got there is being getting from bad to worse.Parent Review3y ago - El Paso Country Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school. The teachers really care. They are not going to sugarcoat the way other private schools do. Honest and dedicated to each child. If you want the social links that come with private schools, this school is not it! They are only interested in the kids and could care less what parents do for a living. Refreshing change from last school.Parent Review1y ago - Father Yermo Early Learning Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Clement's is a hidden treasure for the city of El Paso. The care and excellence cannot be found anywhere else in the city. The school concentrates on developing the whole child. They work on re-enforcing the values we teach at home. This school works on the ethics and teaches the children to make the right choices with the right tools. I love how my children are excited to go to school and how their independence has really grown. Love this school!Parent Review5y ago - Ronald McDonald House
