Excellent school. Caring staff, wonderful parents and zero tolerance policy on bullying or nasty behavior. Principal is incredibly engaged and responsive if any issues arise. I have zero regrets sending my child here. Teachers have been amazing and level of instruction and scope of learning is above grade level and keeps kids challenged.

A few times a week I pick up my first grade granddaughter on one of the corners Fairhill Ave and all year have been so impressed by the behavior and friendliness of all the children that walk home up Fairhill. They are so nice and helpful to each other. The older ones keep an eye out for the younger ones They walk safely and play together nicely with no teachers around I feel safe that my 6 year old granddaughter goes to a school with such nice kids …a credit to their parents and teachers.

Unfortunately, I had the experience of having the principal at the school deeming my five year old child "academically unfit" without meeting my child or even the concerned parent (me!) to further discuss any issues or things that were observed. My child was seen as academically unfit to this school after a day that was disguised as a future student visit. It shocked me to later learn this had happened to a few other families and not just mine. Furthermore, he would not share specific information with me because he stated that information was confidential. So he was so willing to tell me my child is academically unfit via a tactless phone call, but then would not tell me why, how, or to what capacity. I had to call and send two emails before I got a half-hearted reply which lacked any empathy whatsoever. At this point, shame on me, I started to believe that there was something wrong with my child despite everything in my intuition telling me that this man was wrong.More schools in the area were willing to meet with my child and myself to see what my child's needs and challenges may be and how we should go about handling it. I honestly thought that even perhaps as a good Christian the principal at Saint Luke's would reach out and offer some help and guidance, especially to a parish member of thirty five years - my mother, my sisters, my aunts and uncles, cousins attended - my grandmother's family was one of the first enrolled when Saint Luke School opened its doors in 1920 and this school, or at least its principal, claims to uphold traditions and support community (support, ha!). It did not come as much of a surprise after having my child accessed by other schools, both Catholic and public (including a person in charge of the school district's elementary curriculum) that he is in fact a normal five year old child. I am beyond thankful to the other schools for actually taking the time to meet with us.I wanted to wait to share our story until I knew that my child was well and settled in at the school we chose. Now, half way through the year I am very happy to say we are more than settled in ... and good news, my child is in no way academically unfit. Spirited? Perhaps. But academically a little ahead of the game, actually. In the end, if you are looking for a good Christian school and considering Saint Luke's for your child, think twice

Very discriminatory, racist, and misogynistic . If you have a child who belongs to a minority do not send them here. My daughter said the principal made her uncomfortable. Some teachers were fine but most others were discriminatory as well. I saw a rat in the bathroom, as well as cockroaches.

A great school where they care about your kids and want them to succeed
