Read what parents are saying about Ember Charter SchoolThe so called teachers dont TEACH these children. Teachers continually leave after a short period
Posted by a parent on 7/1/2022The MS that is presented online, in information and orientation meetings is not the school that you get. School leadership will let you know that you can leave and go to another school if you do not agree with things that are happening. This has not been a good school year for our family.
Posted by a parent on 3/24/2022This school is not what it portrays to be. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! The state test results tells it all.

The Eubie Blake school has a dedicated team of educators and administrators that work hand in hand to provide social, emotional and academic support to help students achieve their highest potential. Throughout the school day, students are rigorously engaged in learning by engaging in discussions, asking questions, working in collaboration, and sharing their strategies. In addition to core subject areas, the students are rigorously taught and engaged computers, music and movement, and physical education. All students at PS 25 learn to Code using programming and with the fully equipped STEM lab, the upper grade students learn Robotics. The school provides a family oriented environment where every child is respected, appreciated, loved and welcomed. Students at The Eubie Blake school are eager to learn and share their ideas. The administration also provides many opportunities for the students to engage and encourage students to pursue their dreams by organizing Cool Men Read and Diva Darlings Day, Career Day, Multicultural Day, Spring Festivals and monthly assemblies. The school has an after school program and help all students to engage in extra curricular activities such as basketball, cheerleading, health and wellness programs. The administration is very supportive of the teachers and provides the educators with many professional development opportunities. Also, they encourage and provide guidance for educators to create new strategies to help their students. At The Eubie Blake School, it’s all about the students.Other Review4y ago - Ps 26 Jesse Owens

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile my Grandson was at this school he was bullied and life threatened, The school did not do anything to keep him safe from the other student. The school was quick to suspend my Grandson because he finally had enough and stood up to this bully, saying that he was the "Problem", that was hilarious to me because my Grandson was not the one who brought a weapon to school threatening anyone! Academically he did TERRIBLE because the teacher's did not understand my Grandsons out bursts due to the bullying, his ADHD & ADD even explaining to the Principal, Teachers & Guidance Counselor OOPS as she preferred to be called "SCHOOL COUNSELOR" it fell on deaf ears, He had summer school AND on the first day his bully slapped him made his face red, after speaking ONCE again to the Principal and "School Counselor" My daughter and I had my Grandson transferred to another school to complete his summer classes, That Is The ONLY good thing that the School Counselor did. My Grandson excelled in the subjects he failed at PS308 and was PROMOTED to the 4TH Grade. SO DO I RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL? THAT'S A HUGE 100% NO! And My Grandson's Bully is still in this school, HOPING & Praying that his bullying does not severely injure the next student he sets his eyes on and his parents get him the help he so desperately need. The 2023-2024 School Year my Grandson will not be in PS308! New School & Environment.Other Review8mo ago - Brooklyn Brownstone School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recommend this school to all the parents looking for a fantastic elementary school for their child. The principal is by far the best principle EVER!!!! He ensures that the school is always safe and he cares about the children’s social and emotional needs. The staff is AMAZING ALL THE TIME. My daughter started this school in Kindergarten and she still attends the school. I do not live nearby the school but I’m willing to travel all the way to The Brooklyn Brownstone School. I’m happy that my daughter attends this school. TBBS WE ARE THE BEST!!!!!!Parent Review11mo ago
