Read what parents are saying about St Cecelia Interparochial SchoolSt. Cecelia’s provides a safe environment and challenging curriculum. The honors math and English in the middle school is a real standout with excellent teachers. The religion teacher is also outstanding. There are many opportunities for growth and learning at St. Cecelia’s.
Posted by a parent on 12/13/2023St. Cecelia has provided my child with a solid foundation of both faith and academics. The school has been around for 75 years for a reason. I highly recommend anyone looking for a faith based curriculum that is challenging to come to St Cecelia.
Posted by a parent on 12/12/2023This is our 5th year at the school and I have three kids of diverse strengths and interests. Each of them has found their voice and personal self in this very safe environment. I love the faith based education, but it’s also not SO much that kids that aren’t Catholic would feel left out. The teachers are extremely responsive and communicate daily with homework, reminders, answering questions, etc. We have really fun family events too! My best adult friends are now fellow SCS families! It’s a great community!
Posted by a parent on 12/12/2023We have been at St Cecelia's for over 10 years! We have found the school to be a positive environment for all our kids. My kids have loved their teachers. This school is an IB world school with rigorous academic standards. The IB teaching has given our kids a solid academic foundation for high school. St Cecelia's academics continues to be one of the best in the area. The teachers support the kids! For each of my experiences the teachers have been so accommodating to my kids and their specific needs in the classroom. The families at school we have met are great! There are many activities that the school does that are for the families to enjoy. The school is very helpful if your child needs academic support services. They have on site academic support were other local schools do not provide that. Overall this is a wonderful school that has been around for a very long time and is a great place for my kids to attend!
Posted by a parent on 12/11/2023This used to be such a great school but in the last few years the administration has isolated themselves from the parents and the teachers don't even seem to care anymore. There is zero discipline, bullying is everywhere and in every class, even as young as 1st grade. We will moving to a different Catholic school next year and it can't come soon enough. We ask to meet with administration and don't hear back from weeks and are always pushed off. When bullying is brought to the attention of the teachers one of the teachers flat out told me her hands are tied and administration wont support her. When we toured we were told so many things that didn't end up being true and after speaking to other families we learned this has been going on for years. I have no idea how they became a blue ribbon school because the academics have declined since we started and I don't know how those teachers can even teach with the behavior issues. We hope that someone eventually comes in and turns it around for the sake of the kids.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSmall class size which allows more individual attention Caring teachers Christian learning environment Sports opportunities are somewhat limited but students have an excellent ability to participate and learn. It wasn’t about winning championships it was about doing their best and sportsmanship, how they treated others I liked that.My boys are not athletes but we’re able to play sports, the small size let them do more than sit and watch, they were encouraged to play!Non pretentious and accepting atmosphere Fair prices with scholarships and funding help available. No regrets having my boys thereThey participate in the music program and plays which the school does. Both have had leading roles! They started a steam program last year that allows for hands on learning Physical plant upgrades are happening as well as technologyParent Review1y ago - Washburn Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been attending Washburn for two years now and they are both thriving in their studies. Washburn's individual approach to education means no child has to wait for others to catch up to them before moving ahead, nor do they feel rushed to catch up if they're not grasping a subject quickly. Due to this, my son is now a full grade ahead of his public school peers! In addition, all students are able to fully apply and use the data they have learned, which is a rare quality in education these days.Parent Review4y ago - Clearwater Academy International
