Presentation Of The Blessed Mary School

Over the past four years we have nothing but admiration and joy about our involvement at Presentation School. Our children have continued to thrive and learn. We feel it’s simply the best!

Schools often talk about focusing on the "whole child," but if there isn't a focus on virtue and faith, something is missing. That something is one of the primary focuses for Presentation and that's what has won us over. Presentation not only cares about the educational growth of their students and works to prepare them for the rigor of high school, but they focus on shaping their moral character--it's woven in to every day and every lesson. Anybody who spends five minutes on our campus notices that difference. We started when our oldest was in TK and there was never any question about where we were meant to be. The school community is warm, welcoming and supportive. We love the teachers, the staff, the families. My husband maintains that Presentation is the only reason we live in Sacramento. I am so grateful that our children go to a school that is safe, where the education is aligned with our morals and values, and where I know they will receive the education and formation needed to help them as they prepare for high school...and even adulthood.

We have been at PBVM for two years and this is by far the best school my children have attended, hands down. The community of parents is awesome-- not at all the cliquey and competitive environment that I had experienced at a previous school. Families come from many different neighborhoods and some drive long distances just to have their children attend, and yet everyone rallies around the school and really has a blast doing it. It's a place that we all believe in.

I absolutely loved this school for my son. He attended K-8 there and the teachers, the parents and the students were all very good people. Father Leatherby is great! and the Dominican Sisters are phenomenal! My son is now in Jesuit High School and he is a great person! I owe it all to Presentation and the great morals, values, ethics, and great role models he had there. Thank you Presentation!

I love the character education the student's are taught and it's unfortunate that it's lacking in most schools. Academics and high expectations in a positive environment is also a priority at this school and we are so lucky we found this gem!
