This is our son’s 6th year at Carden and we couldn’t be happier. The teachers are wonderful. They have helped develop my son into the fine young man he is today. Integrity and character are a primary focus of the school. He has enjoyed playing the different sports Carden has to offer, starting in 2nd Grade. We just received his test scores from a practice high school admissions test and couldn’t be happier. His education has been well rounded, as has the focus of developing a well rounded child.

My daughter attended card and school of Sacramento from age 3 to age 13. While it was a sacrifice to her father and I financially we feel it was the best decision we could have ever made. Not only do they teach values, morals, a great curriculum, over all a superior school in my mind, they have prepared our daughter for a public high school with a strong foundation. We were concerned about the adjustment from a small, very small class size at times to a public high school with over 1000 kids, the tools she took with her have allowed her to thrive in her high school education. I could not say enough good things about the overall, entire experience at Carden.

My son came from a parochial school where entitlement was preached by the principal and reinforced by actions by favoring the kids with money. When my son came to Carden he was a little jaded by his prior experience with the old private school. He began to show a new side in him, one that challenged him to do more. The school is excellent in offering programs to kids in K-8 that most other schools wouldn't introduce until 4th grade or higher. Kids are allowed to participate on sports teams and are tasked to begin speaking in front of the class from K and up. Every school has its bumps, however the tiny little bumps that I recognize are nothing in comparison to the opportunities that are made available. Besides the extracurricular activities, the education is built on the Carden method and I have watched my son and daughter do well and even test high on their annual aptitude tests. To see kids playing with others in lower and higher grades, watching older kids act as mentors to the younger kids, and seeing opportunities made available to my kids throughout their time at the school is a blessing that I am glad to be able to offer them. The extended care is also great for working parents, since my kids don't usually get picked up until after 5. If you want a great school that works to develop the kids as a whole child that includes academics, music, computers, French, and PE throughout the week, then come to Carden.

Considering the tuition, the school and the curriculum are not high quality.

I am so thankful to have found this school. Small class sizes, P.E. daily, computers, French, music, before and after school care, sports. My children are thriving in this environment. They get the individual attention they need and deserve and are not lost in the shuffle like they would be at other schools with 30 plus kids in a classroom.
