My child has gone here from pre-k through 2nd grade, and will be in the third grade here next year. Each one of his teachers has been absolutely amazing! The principal Mr. Beuke and the Vice principal Mrs. Kahil are fantastic! Every teacher at this school truly care for their students! My son has had an incredible experience here. He originally had an IEP, but thanks to the wonderful staff he has been able to graduate from his IEP and move strictly to a 504. The staff here is like family, and truly work together to make this the best place they can for students. Sure, there is a little bullying, but what school doesn't have that. Here it is NOT tolerated, and every student is held accountable for their actions. "It’s very welcoming community, is the city, so you’re going to find that trash bins in your alleyway sometimes, however, the sense of family in the community is strong. Parents play with their kids in the park, people will gather for outdoor activities, jog, play with their dogs. For me, it’s a perfect blend.
