Posted by a parent on 12/2/2019I was a freshman at this school and I dropped out before second quarter. I got invited in the IB program, even though I don’t live in the Adams 12 district. The work for IB is obviously supposed to be harder but teachers didn’t help very much, and I often didn’t even turn in homework for my Math tea

If I could go back in time, I never would have allowed my kids to attend a single day of education at THS. The IB program is at THS for the sole purpose of keeping this failing school afl

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had my kids in this school for 2 years. I tried working with the staff and the school board about the major bullying issues this school has. No resolution was in sight and the bullies are treated better than the victims. My children also had minimal to no educational growth. My youngest is struggling with reading and had zero growth in his test scores from the beginning of the year. My daughter said the work is too easy compared to the Westminster district. Also the majority of Adams 12 schools don’t offer special education after 2nd grade so the kids are just placed to the side if they are not on the same level of their classmates. I am so happy to say I finally got my kids out of this school! However it saddens my heart to know other kids have to deal with this! The district also needs a major clean up and education reform.Parent Review2y ago
