Description

*NO agents, airbnb, subleasing* Furnished Short Term: 3-6 month lease only. Huge Price Reduction. Please read listing thoroughly. Thank you.

Welcome to Desert Palace! A mountain view oasis on 2.5 acres in North Joshua Tree. Massive pool, 8-seat chlorine-free hot tub under the stars (always hot), outdoor fire pit, covered back porch with seating.

Space - 1 master bedroom with king-size Hastens bed, bathroom with shower, huge living room with 3 couches, office desk & printer. 2nd bedroom with queen bed & ensuite bathroom with bathtub. 3rd bedroom with queen bed. All bedrooms have a work desk. 1 massive living room with electric pellet fireplace, sunroom next to dining room, and well-equipped chef's kitchen.

Home is 3033 sq.ft but due to the 4th bedroom being inaccessible, only 2700 sq ft will be usable for tenants. A signed lease and renters insurance are required.

Video Tour: tiny dot cc slash DesertPalace (sorry, zillow does not allow links)

*All closets will have plenty of space + hangers for you. Home is shoe-free.

Cat Lovers - there are two kitties here. No litter in the house thanks to the catio (cat garden) that they have 24/7 access to through the cat door. The minimal care they require is filling their water fountain twice a month and two automatic food dispensers every 7 weeks.

Other Pets - we may be open to a gentle dog upon meeting in person. Additional $500 deposit.

Discounts - we are offering our home for $1k less than we'd normally ask due to our 2 kitties staying here. Additional $200/m off if paying in full for 3+ months.

Utilities: paid by owner: water, trash, propane, pool service, wifi. $600/m electricity paid by renter.

Plants - we have some living plants that you, our guests can either water, or we can remove them during your stay if you'd rather not water them.

Sound System - you're welcome to use it. Neighbors can't hear anything since they're so far away. There's a boombox available for the pool too.

Hot tub - very low maintenance. Just add enzyme drops. No chlorine.

Location: 1/2 mile north of Border & Aberdeen, 10min to downtown JT, 20min to park entrance, 50min to Palm Springs.

Other person on the land - is a friend living in the stand-alone guest house who travels a lot and is only here about 1/2 of the time.

Fyi, Instacart works great around here!

You'll feel blessed to stay in this expansive, positive, retreat-like environment. We look forward to meeting you!

Absolutely NO - smoking anything inside the house. We could be open to a very light cigarette smoker. Vaping inside is OK because it doesn't stink. We prefer to rent to people who do not smoke cigarettes even if they smoke outside, the smell comes in via clothing. If you smoke cigarettes outside and the stench of cigarettes is noticeable in the house, the cleaning fee at the end of your stay will be $1500, as the smell is extremely difficult to remove from furniture. Couches will need to be professionally washed to start with.
