"This is a rather small, but great neighborhood, with all different age children. It’s a safe neighborhood and it has a fantastic school system w/ nice parks. Had I known how truly amazing it is here, we would’ve moved here sooner. "

"Amazing neighborhood — very friendly and family-oriented. Some broken sidewalks, no dog runs close-by that I know of. "

"I have lived in Jenkintown for 20 years and it is the best kept secret. It is a tiny borough just on the outskirts of Philadelphia. The schools are wonderful. It is a walking neighborhood with lots of great little restaurants, shops and public transportation easily accessible. The homes are older and well-maintained. Neighbors are friendly and it is the kind of neighborhood where everyone knows everyone. I wouldn't want to raise my children anywhere else. It has an old time feel to it."

"Jenkintown is one of those little known secrets. It's easy to get into Philadelphia via one of the 4 train lines that run through. There is a developing restaurant scene and main street. It is family-friendly and has a top-notch school district which graduates under 100 students per year--think private education without the cost. Think small town friendliness with a big city sophistication--yet down to earth. It is also very walkable and is close to grocery markets, a coop, a quality mall and to the PA turnpike."
