2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEver since I brought my children to this school I have 2 continue coming and check around because of how much violence is here the councilors are very good at there job and help the other staff is just rude and Instead of helping kindly and giving solutions they have this ugly attitude I would change my kids from this school but at the moment I can't but next year they won't be coming here . The teachers are not paying attention and count my kids absent and when I go and try 2 fix it they just pass the ball around just saying it wasn't me or this or that and I understand that every student counts for there own actions but the environment here is so tense ur kids can't wear jewelry without fearing this school is very ugly . And there is a lot of gangs. And school doesn't do anything I have seen at least 5 fights and the staff no where around and they fight in school property.Parent Review2y ago - Rusk Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCurrently, a Senior at Silva who will graduate with a 4.2 GPA, and I can tell you this school has prepared me with a strong resume for college and even the workforce. Silva does give you a great insight into the healthcare field and, by the time you graduate, you will definitely have a decision as to whether healthcare is for you or not. The clinical rotations at Silva are great, since they let you shadow in actual hospitals and see procedures you would only see during college such as surgeries. In addition, some senior programs even let you shadow any physician you want. As a graduating Silva student, I have obtained healthcare certifications that will allow me to work in a decent healthcare part-time job during college while building my resume for medical school. Everyone else that says that "Silva is too hard", just doesn't have the drive or doesn't put in the work to make up for a good grade. Silva is definitely not hard, it only requires a bit of determination. If you are a person who tends to underperform or slack off in school with the childish excuse that "it's too much for my mental health" then, I can assure you, you will have a bad time at Silva because you won't take responsibility for your failures and will blame it all on your teachers or your nonexistent teeneage "mental issues".Parent Review11mo ago - Bassett Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI enrolled two children here a few years apart and they had wonderful experiences participating in summer research programs, band, orchestra, math competitions and more. They made lifelong friends. They are both very well prepared for University and graduated high school with associate degrees.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 3401 Jackson Ave.

"My commute is typically easy. There is little traffic except during the rush hours and weekends of course. There is easy access to grocery stores and shopping centers, gas stations, food stops (fast food and restaurants), parks, schools, banks, etc. A lot of military families live in my area. "

"I live on the military base. I love it. I don’t love El Paso per say. If I had to live off post I would live on the west side, but it cost more and it’s a lot further for work. The northeast, and the Far East are good places to live. "
