What Locals Say about Elliot Park
- Weissannelise
- Resident

"There are no events that make this a special neighborhood. The surrounding homes are lower income homes and there is a hospital two blocks from me with constant ambulances."
- Dan
- Resident

"Not a fan of the area. Currently renting here and can’t wait to get out. Crime is bad and don’t find the neighborhood very welcoming. This week my car not only got a hit and run while being parked, later the same day someone broke into it..."
- Destinee A. S.
- Resident

"I wouldn’t walk alone at night some nights and people stealing things, breaking into cars, The K2 outbreak lol. Ambulances were out every hour some days. "
- Jenna T.

"Elliot Park is a great location. You can walk to work, restaurants, bars, events and parks. It is quiet on nights and weekends but close to everything you want. There are 2 new apartment buildings with potential retail and restaurants being build right now which will only make it better."
- Destinee A. S.

"Things have been stolen even those behind gates. Car Tires have been flattened from people late nights"
- Jacob P.

"ah what can I say... Elliot park is safe enough to live in, but you should have your Wits about you. there's a fair amount of public drunkenness and drug use. "
- Trulia User

"Not the best area I’ve ever lived in. I tend notice a lot of broken glass and trash on the sidewalks. The only park near by I would not take my dog to due to the crowd there. "

"Everyone has dogs and 99% of them are very friendly and sweet!!! Love this neighborhood and hope it doesn’t just turn into pure blocks of high rise apartments"
- Jacob P.

"this is the last remaining neighborhood as close to downtown as it is!!! it's busy but very livable. we haven't had any major issue with the neighborhood"
- AS2513

"Nice neighborhood if you can tolerate constant ambulance sirens. Certain parts on Portland avenue can be tricky crime-wise. I have lived here for more than 2 years. Easy commute to my work."

"Elliot Park is a gentrifying neighborhood that has a lot of potential. You can walk to the Vikings stadium or Nicolette Mall which is nice. There is also a great dog park nearby so if you have a furry friend you are in luck."

"there's lots of areas to walk your dog but there is also a lot of trash. pretty nice park near by for walks and strolls"
- Aaron K.

"Very diverse. It has a criminal element, but for the most part, you will see a lot of college students walking and biking. "
